The 16th annual British Sausage Week, which is organised by Bpex will take place 4-10 November 2013. The week
traditionally aims to raise awareness of quality-assured sausages.
Sausages are a huge part of the UK meat market, with Kantar data revealing that 190,114 tonnes of sausages were consumed last
year. Sausages are now a regular meal time purchase for 87% of UK households and account for 864m meals every year.
